Scholl Overnight Mask

Scholl Velvet Smooth Night Mask - £7.99 for 60ml

I have always used the Scholl party feet gel cushions for nights out in heels and whilst I find them comfy and tolerable I still require extra care for my feet afterwards. As a new Glossybox (a UK beauty monthly subscription box) subscriber I received this product with the May Superdrug collaboration box, to begin with I felt disappointed to have received this product but after a couple of days of childish sulking I stopped and gave the mask a second look - here is what it proclaims to do;
'A night-mask that stimulates cell re-growth. Softer feet in 24hrs'

The cream needs to be applied to clean and dry feet just before bed, the cream then is absorbed whilst you sleep meaning that it does not need to be rinsed in the morning. The main attraction to this product for the summer is that flip flops are very well known to cause hard skin at the bottom of your feet - and who actually wants hard crusty feet?

Anyhow, I generally stay clear from flip flops as I am not a big fan of hard feet or free toes so I thought I would put the cream to the test after a night out in those gorgeous killer heels - after a night of dancing and standing in every venue it is no wonder us girls suffer from hard achy feet all weekend, I usually just let them soak in the bath for a long period and hope with gentle soap and massaging it will be forgiving. However, I had a new product to try out so why not give it a go?

So I showered and got ready for bed in preparation, my first thought was that the cream had a very medical but clean smell, nothing to complain about, very neutral in fact like most moisturising creams, I simply massaged a pea amount and to my surprise it was not greasy nor slimy. Moreover, of course the first thing I did when I woke up was rub my feet and to my delight there was no throbbing or achy pain that is usually present prior to one night in heels, instead they felt normal - not really smooth nor obviously moisturised but then again I generally maintain a high level of care for my feet anyway. I repeated the application again that night and the second time round I actually did notice a significant difference to my feet. They were soft and felt like they had been massaged all night.

Overall I will defiantly be re-purchasing this night mask and for £7.99 it is defiantly worth it! Also, with great results it is defiantly tempting me to go and purchase more flip-flops and heels as the cream will only kiss my feet better at the end of the night. Easy, affordable and convenient.

A summer must have!
